The litmus test of the true style-savvy is how she (or he) rocks a look on any old day to work. Forget the pedestrian khakis and button downs—these fashionable professionals take the office dress code to a whole other dimension. Quick, somebody call HR!

Eve Thomas, Senior Fashion Editor: I like to mix and match luxe pieces with more casual items. I might pair a statement skirt with a classic tee, or a cocktail dress with a leather jacket. I’m also a big fan of color and print and tend to wear one bold piece with more neutrals items.

Style advice: Invest in the very best wardrobe basics you can afford. These will see you through for years to come. Every girl should own the following: a trench coat, a pencil skirt, a pair of cropped pants, a leather jacket, and a tailored blazer, plus a selection of T-shirts and cashmere knits in neutral colors. You can then update these every season with a handful of trend items. Be bold with your accessories. It’s the easiest way to update an outfit—a statement necklace will instantly transform a basic tee, and a pair of color-pop shoes will add interest to a LBD.

Style advice: Don’t hide yourself away in black because it’s safe or you have been told it is “slimming”. Color and print can add an edge to your style and give you a confidence you didn’t know you had. It’s always worth investing in accessories: A statement bag, pair of shoes or necklace will last you seasons. Do your research; see what is on offer, and invest wisely.

Mo White, Creative Director: My style is minimal, directional, and stylish, often with a ’60s or ’80s signature. I have a capsule wardrobe of great pieces that I love and can work with anything. I like to add a tough element to my look, whether that be a tailored jacket with a quirky edge (Wang does some really great ones), a pair of leather trousers or doing something as simple as turning up the collar on my jacket. I know my body shape very well and I dress to enhance my height and shape.

Style advice: Top tip? Take t-shirts to the dry cleaners before their first wear and the heat will bond the jersey so the fabric will wear better!

Style advice: Always wear amazing heels, but bring a pair of flats in your bag. Don’t be afraid to express your personality in clothes! And a good haircut is your best accessory.

So take me for example, Aliaa! Lazy to dress up on a given day (anyday will be my casual friday) but I dress messy with dressy (duh!), no matter what you do girls, skinny jeans with v-neck thirts. You can always mix it with a lovely bangles and casually stroll with your hobo bag! a little pop of color will go a long way! You don’t have to know fashion to be fashionably, all you need is some key pieces that you can mix it with anything.

Launched just two years ago, MCNY short film festivals has become to me the best platform for new filmmakers out there. Simply the only school in New York City that started with a short film festivals, MCNY is truly a students event that transcendent the creativity of short films.The festival offers opportunity for short film makers to get their film out there.

So, it’s 2011.
2010 came and went like a very strong breeze sweeping us off our feet. Soi66 is now one and a half year old baby having had to crawl our way to the top, defying odds and overcoming obstacles along the way.
We had our share of hiccups, but thanks to YOU – we are still here, up and running!

We are now fully operating in NYC seeing that the both of us are here pursuing our Masters full time while trying to make a living *allsmiles* Sadly to announce that effective 1st February, only local orders will be entertained due to our limited resources. We will get our personal and business matters sorted out and if things do go well, we will continue to cater to our ever supportive customers back home in Malaysia.

Wish us luck in the BIg Apple, we’ll try not to miss home..much
Meanwhile, we share the newest face of the current season’s Armani jeans and underwear line – Spanish tennis ace, Rafael Nadal! El es muy guapo, no?

..oh and there’s Megan Fox as well, keeping her contract intact for the second consecutive season. Can’t say we’re feeling sorry for Christiano Ronaldo though, too sexy for Armani perhaps?

On my recent visit to BB, I noticed a massive cube like TV screen and all 4 surfaces were running video ads simultaneously! It was attention grabbing, that it was. Should have taken a few snaps to share with you lovelies but ah, I got sidetracked as I was walking absentmindedly to the first flagship store of Uniqlo The first thing that caught my eyes was a billboard ad of Charlize Theron donning the brand’s AW 10 collection looking absolutely stunning!
